Description
This is a 50th anniversary badge for 5. Rheinisches Infantrie-Regiment Nr 65. This regiment was created in 1860 and garrisoned at Köln (Cologne). This badge is circular and gilt toned. It has information on the regiment (as described above). It displays a crown at the top and commemorates the fifty years since the creation of the regiment (1860 to 1910). Two black and white ribbons extend down from the badge. It is attractively made, and in very good condition, overall.
