This is a Vivat Ribbon commemorating King Friedrich August III of Saxony, as well as Saxony’s Infantry-Division Nr 32 and Infantrie-Brigade Nr 63. The Vivat ribbon measures 15 ½” x 2 ½.” It is white in color with the printing in green. These are the Kingdom of Saxony’s primary national colors. At the top of the Vivat is a profile of the Saxon King. In the middle is a salute to Infantrie-Division Nr 32 and Infantrie-Brigade Nr 63, which were Saxon units. They fought well at the Battle of Craonne on 26 January 1915. The Vivat’s bottom panel shows the Saxon Coat-of-Arms. Vivats generally were offered under the auspices of the German Red Cross
