Description
This is a Vivat ribbon for Germany’s colony in Tanga. Its color is orange. It measures 15″ x 2 1/2.” It mentions the dates 3-5 November 1914, a successful battle. Ships are depicted off the coast. Below that is the Governor of East Africa (Ostafrika). Vivat ribbons were produced for the benefit of the German Red Cross.
