Description
This is a silk Vivat Ribbon. It measures 15 3/4″ x 2 1/2.” The ribbon is orange. It commemorates the military involvement of Herzog (Duke) Albrecht of the Kingdom of Württemberg. Albrecht was a cavalryman. We once had the pleasure of offering his Ulanen-Regiment tschapka. In addition to a portrait of Albrecht, Württemberg’s Coat-of-Arms and an Iron Cross are featured. The ribbon was issued by the German Red Cross (Deutsche Roten Kreuze). It is in excellent condition.
