Description
This is a silk Vivat Ribbon. It measures 153/4″ x 21/2.” The ribbon is green. It celebrates the alliance between Germany and Bulgaria. Both Kaiser Wilhelm II and Czar Ferdinand of Bulgaria are depicted. The date 18 January is also shown. Perhaps the ribbon was issued to commemorate a meeting in the field on this date. The ribbon was issued by the German Red Cross (Deutsche Roten Kreuze). It is in excellent condition.
