Description
This Vivat Ribbon commemorates the Masuren Winterschlacht (Winter Battle) during 8-17 February 1915. Its central theme is a Teutonic Knight standing victorious over a dragon he has slain. The Vivat’s bottom features a shield with the Hohenzollern Eagle. The Vivat is pink and measures 16″ x 2 1/2.” The Vivat was produced by a Berlin firm for the German Red Cross’s benefit.
