Description
This is a document that honoring and welcoming a man to a veterans’ group whose members served in WW I’s Field Artillery. The document measures 12″ x 15 ½.” At the top is the phrase “Für Treue und Komeradschaft” (For Loyalty and Comradeship). Below that we see a photograph of a monument for “Der Deutschen Feldartillerie” (The German Field Artillery). The document is made out to “Karl Tapenendorff.” He was a member of Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr 502. He is saluted for his service. Below this information is the organization’s Coat-of-Arms and a note that it was created in 1926. The document is hand signed by a generalleutnant in black ink. I cannot make out his name. The document is printed on heavy paper and has been folded in half.
