This small-format, hardback book was first published during June1915 in Great Britain. It was reprinted in September 1915. This is the third edition, printed in July 1916. The book reviews the various military, royal, and political figures of the period. Included in the book are chapters covering Kaiser Wilhelm II, Kronprinz Wilhelm, King Albert of Belgium, Kaiser Franz-Josef of Austria, General Joffre of France, Generalfeldmarschall von Hindenburg, Sir John French of England, Sir John Jellicoe of England, etc. It is clearly written from the English perspective during WW I. It may not be as history finally recorded the events, but it is how people felt at the time. It is also a good read.
