PRUSSIA – GOBLET – MONOGRAMED – PRINZ ADALBERT
Beautiful clear shining glass wine goblet that once was the property of Prinz Adalbert von Preußen (1884-1948).
Adalbert was Kaiser Wilhelm II’s (1859-1941) and Kaiserin Augusta Viktoria’s third son. He was the only one of the Kaiser’s six sons who served in the Kaiserliche Marine. He served in several naval positions during WW I. The wine glass is finely etched in the front with a crowned “A.” The glass’s stem is quite ornate. The glass stands 7″ in height, measures 2 1/2″ in diameter at the rim, and is 3″ in diameter at the base.
It is in excellent condition.
